According to the MCA-Armenia Program Governance Agreement, elections of the Stakeholders'
Committee (SC), which is composed of 15 members (established on May 6, 2006),
are held each Program year. New elections for the Stakeholders' Committee membership
will be held on September 27, 2008.
To start the election process, MCA-Armenia invites General Assembly of Interested
Organizations which will be held on September 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Congress
Hotel Ballroom (Italia St. 1, Yerevan). The General Assembly will discuss and
approve the SC Election Procedure and select Electoral Committee.
All legal entities representing civil society that are properly registered in
the Ministry of Justice of Armenia and are not state and/or commercial organizations
are eligible to participate at the General Assembly. Each organization can have
one authorized representative with the right to vote who is supposed to present
his/her Passport and Power of Attorney (signed by the head of the organization
and sealed with the organization stamp) if he/she is not the head of the organization
